5 WAYS MILK BENEFITS ADULTS AND CHILDREN

Milk contains a very large quantity of water molecules and is considered the best fluid for rehydration. It offers a much healthier choice in place of energy drinks and processed fruit juices. Milk has properties that lower the liver’s production of cholesterol in adults and children. Women who drink low-fat or skimmed milk lose more weight than those who exclude milk from their diet. By taking milk in appropriate quantities therefore, you reduce your chances of becoming overweight or shed excess weight.

Three servings of milk per day with five portions of fruit and vegetables as part of a low salt diet can reduce high blood pressure in adults and children. Recent study shows that those who drank the most milk had fewer heart attacks than those who had little or no milk in their diets.
You could also reduce the risk of cancers with milk intake. Studies have also shown that those who drank milk as children and continued as adults have lower risk of developing breast cancer.
