Tamar Braxton Speaks On Nearly Missing Out On Motherhood

Toni Braxtons Sis, Tamar Braxton is loving motherhood with her 8 Month old Logan Vincent , but the Braxton Family Values star wasn’t always sold on the idea of being a mommy. In fact, the 36-year-old singer admits to People , “I almost missed out on the best thing that ever happened to me.”

The career-minded singer seems overwhelmed by how much her perspective has changed since giving birth. “I have no idea I would love motherhood, “ she says. “I thought that I didn’t want [any] kids.”

It helps that Logan is so well behaved. At 8 months, he sleeps through the night and doesn’t get too fussy. “My baby sleeps [well],” Tamar brags. “He’ll go to bed at 10 and wake up at 8 or 9. Nothing like his mama — not dramatic at all.”

While Logan’s drama-free demeanor might never make for good reality TV, it certainly helps Tamar balance motherhood with her career. Unfortunately, Logan’s not so much a fan of his musical mama’s vocal stylings.

“He doesn’t [like] singing that much,” she confides. “When I was pregnant with him, I recorded my album and he used to ball up real hard. And [now] he does the same thing — just stares at me, like, ‘What are you doing?’”
