Mel B Defends Stephen Belafonte: “My Hubby Never Would Lay a Hand on Me”
After weeks of speculations on the status of Mel B’s marriage to Stephen Belafonte, the former Spice Girl, 39, has finally addressed the domestic abuse rumours.
“This is for my fans; having problems with my Twitter ,will be back soon! I’m very good was very polly but much better now and for the record my hubby never would lay a hand on me. Sorry took so long but any response fuels rumors #lovemyfamily #lovemyfans,” she captioned a photo with Belafonte, 39 on Instagram.
Belafonte has spoken out several times on social media and in the press, defending his marriage and insisting he has not abused his wife.
On Christmas Day, Melanie Brown posted a picture with Belafonte and their little girls, writing, “Have a merry Christmas! #familytime #funday.”
