George Clooney accepted the Cecil B. Demille Award at the Golden Globes for his large and respected body of work and couldn’t help gushing about his new bride, Amal.
George turned his attention to his wife of six months, and said,
“It’s a humbling thing when you find someone to love, even better if you’ve been waiting your whole life … and if your whole life is 53 years … cue Amy, start the jokes. Amal, whatever alchemy it is that brought us together, I couldn’t be more proud to be your husband.”
