Whitney Houston’s Daughter Found Unresponsive In A Bathtub

Almost 3 years ago, Bobbi Kristina’s mother, Whitney Houston passed away in similar manner.

Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina in a medically-induced coma after doctors noticed there was swelling on her brain. The 21-year-old was found by husband Nick Gordon in a bathtub full of water at their Atlanta home.

Police searched her home for drugs – none were found

Just a week ago, Bobbi Kristina tweeted about how she missed her mum ahead of the three-year anniversary of Whitney’s death.

Police are aware of similarities between the incident and Whitney Houston’s shocking death. They said: “Obviously we all know her mom died this very same way.”

‘Placed in medically-induced coma’

Yesterday, news broke that Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Atlanta home. At 10.25am on Saturday morning, Nick, 20, called an ambulance after he and a friend found Bobbi in the bath.

They tried to revive her but she was rushed to casualty immediately. While she is currently stable, she has been placed in a medically induced coma as she is suffering swelling on her brain. Her dad, Bobby Brown, rushed to be by her bedside.

The incident comes nearly three years after Bobbi’s mum Whitney was found dead.

Houston died on February 11, 2012 after drowning in a bathtub in Beverly Hills, California.

‘No drugs found’

Whitney’s daughter was found face down in the bathtub and police searched her home for drugs, reports US website TMZ.

They claim her husband Nick Gordon discovered her on her stomach in the tub, which was full of enough water to have a bath in.

The website also says police did a full search and no drugs were found.

Last night police said they are aware of the tragic circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina being found in unresponsive in her bath. “Obviously we all know her mom died this very same way,” Lisa Holland of the Roswell Police Department told People magazine.

The Greatest Love of All singer died on February 11, 2012 in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office later confirmed the I Will Always Love You singer passed away as a result of drowning and “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use”.

The cause of Bobbi’s incident is currently unknown.
