Stepdad Purposely Infects Step Kids With HIV

A stepdad deliberately infected his two step-daughters with HIV after raping them.

According to the Daily Mail, the girls were aged 11 and 14 when they contracted the potentially deadly virus.

The stepdad, 60, had originally denied the accusations but has since developed full-blown AIDS.
He pleaded to guilty to a string of sex offences on the second day of his trial at Canterbury Crown Court this week and was told to expect an indeterminate sentence.
One of the girls, now 22, told Gemma Aldridge at the Sunday Mirror, she only found out about her condition when she was expecting her boyfriend’s baby.
She worried her sister, who had been removed from the family home, had suffered the same fate with tests confirming her fears were right.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said the abuse started just months after her mother moved the man in. He started buying her things like clothes, a phone as well as giving her cash. But then one day, while her mother was in the kitchen making dinner, he kissed her – when she was just 12. She told him to stop but that was only the start of the abuse.
‘I’d been in the bath one night a few weeks later and he knew I’d be getting ready for bed so he came into my room,’ she said.
‘I tried to tell him to leave but he forced me down onto the bed and ripped my towel away before raping me. I had no choice. I was terrified.’

He would then make excuses for her to sleep in a bed with him and told their mother to sleep with the younger sister in case she had nightmares. The abuse resulted in her getting pregnant at 13 and being forced to get an abortion. Social services visited the house but the interviews were carried out in front of her abuser.
Years later, she was happy to learn she was expecting her boyfriend’s baby, until she was given the devastating news she had contracted HIV and her ‘world fell apart.’
‘In that moment everything came back to punch me in the stomach. I felt dirty, disgusting and inhuman,’ she said.
The brave woman says she has nothing to do with her mother any more after she told her about the abuse but she refused to believe her. Her younger sister now lives with foster parents.
