Bars are a great way to get kids and even adults to snack healthy. Try out this:

2 1/2 dl oats
11/2 dl wheat flour/all purpose flour.
1 dl wheat germ
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 dl honey( melted)
1/2 dl brown sugar( optional)
1 egg (beaten)
1/2 dl coconut oi l(or oil of choice)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 dl dried apricot( or dried fruit of choice)
1/2 dl flaked almond( optional)
1/2 dl flaked coconut( optional)
1 dl raisins

How to prepare

Preheat oven to 175 °C. Mix oats, wheat germ, flour, cinnamon, raisins, flaked coconut and almond, apricot and salt. Make a hole in the middle and pour in honey, egg, vanilla and oil. With your hand, mix the ingredients together.
Grease a baking pan generously with oil. Pat the mixture into the pan and bake for 30 minutes. Allow the baked bar to cool for 5 minutes and then cut it into smaller bars while still warm (never allow the bar to cool down completely before cutting or it will be very difficult to cut). Enjoy your snack!
