Meet The Couple Who Got Married In 5 Countries And Still Counting

Most couples consider getting married to be a one off event, but a couple who loves travelling round the world feel otherwise as they have resolved to renew their vows in every country they visit.

According to the Mirror, Gustavo Bogomolni 45 and Fanny Perez 39, have been married for two years after getting married on the Turks and Caicos islands and since then they have repeated the ceremony in four other countries including Antigua, USA, India and Norway.

The couple who have children from their previous marriages, with Fanny having three daughters and Gustavo two boys  had their first wedding in 2013 which was a beach ceremony.

Their second wedding, a traditional Hindu ceremony took place in Jaipur, India. The ceremony involved Fanny performing the Hindu ritual of being ‘adopted’ as a daughter by a guide family.

Gustavo said: “It was magical to spend more than two hours with the guide family before the wedding, preparing the bride with Henna. We also went through Jaipur on a horse and carriage. There was a huge orchestra just for us. I said to Fanny when we started dating that I loved her so much that I want to get married in every place in the world.”

Their third wedding was a religious celebration with their friends and closest family members at the ceremony which took place in Miami where they met each other and presently live.

Their fourth wedding was another beach ceremony which took place on the Antigua Islands. Their fifth and recent wedding occurred in Gudvangen, Norway, with the couple choosing to have a traditional Viking ceremony and did not invite any guests.

The couple has already planned to have their next wedding in December in Morocco and hope to celebrate it amongst Bedouins – a seminomadic group inhabiting deserts that herd camels and goats and plan to spend their wedding night in a tent.

Gustavo said: “Each wedding had magical moments and feelings. The real one was more sensitive and special, shared with our nearest. But the Indian one was incredible, because we were right in the middle of millenary Indian culture. We are very idealist about the love and really believe in it. We enjoy the adventure and travel. Even before we knew each other, we travelled a lot. For us, to know the world and express our love is something that makes this experience of life worthwhile the most.”
