SHOCKING: See Why Pastor Ended 15-Year-Old Marriage With Wife
A 50-year-old pastor identified as Tunde Adekunle, has had his 15-year-old marriage to his wife, Mrs. Agbeke Adekunle, dissolved by a Customary Court in Akure in Ondo State, over allegations of constant public battery by his wife.
According to The Sun, the pastor and dad of four told the court that his troublesome wife had turned him into a laughing stock in public by beating him over any slight domestic issue they had, both at home and church. Showing some scars on his body in court to prove his allegation, he noted that his wife was a disgrace to his pastoral calling and ministry, and recalled how his wife once tore his cloth into shreds in the presence of his congregation during a church service.
His wife, however, denied the allegations but agreed that they be separated for peace sake.
The President of the court subsequently dissolved the marriage.
