Primary School Where Proprietor Defiles Girls Shut Down By Lagos State Governor

A private primary school owned by 56-year-old proprietor, Mr. Joseph Ogunleye, has been shut down by the Lagos state government.

Ogunleye who is in an ongoing trial was on the 27th of June 2015 charged before a Yaba Chief Magistrate’s Court in Lagos over his alleged defilement of two pupils in his school, a 7-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl.

The Lagos state governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, directed officials of the Monitoring and Investigative department of the State Ministry of Education to shut the school, God Grace Global Group of School at Alagbelebu Street, Kudeyibu Estate, Ijegun, Lagos, indefinitely. It is obvious the governor is interested in seeing that cases of rape and defilement are brought to a stop within the state.
