Notorious False Prophet Defrauds Two Women After Several Rounds of Sex in Lagos

49-year old, Moses Okezie, a self professed prophet in Lagos has been remanded in prison for allegedly defrauding two women by both stealing their money and fraudulently engaging them in sex while claiming to be performing spiritual deliverance.

Okozie, a father of four who resides in the Idimu area of Lagos, is currently facing two different criminal trials before Magistrate court, Ejigbo for the alleged fraud, PM News reports.

Okozie appeared before the court sometime in August 2015 for allegedly defrauding 27-year old Philomena Ajil to the tune of N550, 000. He also took her to a hotel in Ikotun area and, on several occasions, engaged her in ‘sex deliverance’ for her to be successful in her business. Okozie who was arrested for the crime after Ajil realized the scam, had however, been granted bail by the presiding Magistrate, Mrs J.O.E Adeyemi.

Unfortunately for the unrepentant Okozie, he has again, this past week, been arrested and charged before the same Ejigbo court on same allegations; his second trial is presided over by Magistrate A.A. Fashola.

It is alleged that, this time around, he defrauded 26-year old Amarachi Dike to the tune of N1m and also engaged her in marathon sex in a hotel under the guise of giving her spiritual powers to succeed in business.

Dike explained that she met Okozie and two other of his gang members, a female and a male, on her way home from church. They had pretended to be taxi operators plying Festac area to Apo junction near mile 2 area and this was her route home so she boarded their golf car only for her to lose her consciousness while they took her to Ikotun under the false pretense of going to conduct deliverance for her.

She narrated that Okozie who claimed to be a prophet made her drink a certain substance which hypnotized her into obeying whatever he commanded of her. Under his command, she borrowed money from relations and sent to Okozie who on several occasions also engaged her in marathon sex, claiming it was a deliverance session.

Dike says she came to herself when those she borrowed money from started putting pressure on her. She was forced to open up to them that she had been hypnotized and duped. This led to the arrest of the fraudster, Okozie. His golf car has been tendered in court as an exhibit.

Okozie has pleaded not guilty and the presiding Magistrate, Mr A.A. Fashola has granted him bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in like sum. The matter has been adjourned till 2 December 2015.
