Kenyan Man Sells Cheating Wife For SH500

A man said to be a popular entertainer in the Ukunda area of Kenya, Mwachambuli Saria, has reportedly sold off his wife of four years, Ada Kassim, for Sh500 to the close friend his wife had been cheating with.

According to Nairobi News, Saria who said he was left with no choice as their marriage had turned into hell owing to frequent quarrels on trivial issues said:

“We started so well and I loved my wife so much. I remember our first year was so peaceful and God blessed us with a bouncing baby girl.”

He said however, lately, his wife hardly slept at home and routinely left their baby with a neighbour whom she pays Sh200 on a daily basis.

He said when he saw his friend’s contacts in her phone’s call list and asked how she came about them, she refused to answer.

He continued, “I decided to beat her up and that’s when she told me the truth.”

Mr Saria said he later struck an agreement with his friend which involved him paying him a Sh500 transfer fee, so she could become officially free to be with his friend.

He said his friend however only paid a deposit of Sh200 and has since been seen moving around the village with the woman whom he introduces as his wife. He said:

“I heard he is planning to marry her. That cannot happen until he clears my debt plus an additional Sh2,000 which I paid to her family during my introduction.”

His friend, who is yet to be named, confirmed the whole story, promising to clear the outstanding amount.

“There was no need for him to take this issue to the media. I will pay him the remaining amount because above all we are still friends and forever will remain so,” he said.
