Angry Husband Storms Wife’s Church Demanding Loan Money She Gave as Tithe
An angry Kenyan man identified as Geoffrey Odhiambo, violently made his way into his wife’s church, Jesus Elevation Tabernacle, during a live service, demanding his SH200,000 (about 400,000 Naira) loan which his wife had taken to the church in exchange for prayers against demons, Star News reports.
Odhiambo said he had gotten the money from a bank using his car as collateral and his wife had given the entire amount as tithe without his consent. His wife however told witnesses at the scene who had questioned her, that she had given the money as tithe for prayers as there were evil spirits and devils in her house.
Odhiambo complained that his wife was fond of taking money to the church. It took male ushers more than 10 minutes to eject Odhiambo from the midday service moments just before the arrival of the police.
He reported the matter at the Kisumu Central Police Station and the police are looking into the issue.
Money in exchange for prayers against demonic?
