Mother Arrested For Burning Daughter’s Private Part
A mother, Bukky Lawal, was arrested for burning her 11 year old daughter, Ore’s private part with hot iron because she came late from school.
According to the Punch, Bukky, who initially evaded arrest by the officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation for a day later reported herself to the officials when her mother was arrested the day before. Bukky was then handed over to the state police.
Punch reports that Ore was said to have sustained a second degree burn from the attack.
In speaking about Ore’s case and other related cases in Lagos state, a spokesperson for the Lagos State’s Office of the Public Defender, Mr. Adeoba Adeniji-Adele advised that ‘Parents in Lagos should learn to control their temper. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse. It is a serious crime to inflict this kind of grievous injury on children.’

I don’t think ore is her daughter. I mean who does that to their child? Did her own mom burn her that way? If she was my mom, she would seize to be from that moment. Wicked woman.
