30-year-old Tyrone Lowe who was declared wanted for fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend in the Bronx last week reportedly turned the gun on himself onTuesday, New York Post reports. His body was found by a passer-by slumped over in the back of a Honda minivan parked in front of an Eastchester bowling alley with a single gunshot wound to the head.

The .38-caliber revolver he used was still in his right hand while three .38 shells and three bullet casings were also found near his body, said the police.

On 1 December, Lowe had allegedly shot dead his ex-girlfriend, 28-year-old, Shoshane Rattigan, during an argument inside her apartment on Bogart Ave, near Piece Ave. in Morris Park about 4 a.m. He was said to haven he fired off one round, striking her in the head; their 6-year-old son and Rattigan’s 20-year-old nephew were said to be in the next room. She was declared dead at the scene after her son and nephew alerted the police.

Lowe was last seen fleeing the crime scene in the same Honda minivan in which he was found dead, the police said.
