In some parts of the world, during a leap year, women can traditionally “pop the question” to their men. This year being a leap year, an Irish woman has publicly (and dramatically) asked her man to marry her.
A huge banner was spotted in Dublin by passers-by and was posted on twitter by a user, FillUpBurn, yesterday. The banner read,
“Hey Alex, can’t believe I’m doing this, but spring has sprung, it’s a Leap Year, so here goes…. Will you be my forever Valentino? Lucy X”
