Olajumoke Orisaguna, the Agege bread seller whose life took a turn for the better after walking into a celebrity shoot by TY Bello (read here) is still making waves. Apart from trending both in local and international media, the 27-year-old mum of two has been gifted a luxury apartment in Lagos and a scholarship to be trained at the Poise Academy, Nigeria by Sujimoto Construction Limited.

The CEO of the company, Sijibomi Ogundele, said,

Olajumoke’s grass to grace story is my story. It is the story of my mother who also came to Lagos from Ijebu in search of a better life. Young people should learn from Olajumoke’s experience that hard work is the bedrock of all success and success only happens when preparation meets opportunity. There are no sustainable shortcuts. Without hard work, luck won’t last.

ThisDay journalist, Azuka Ogujiuba, who has also been instrumental to her success story, wrote on social media,

@sujimoto81 how many more Olajumoke do we have, who left their comfort zone to look for opportunity, the Olajumoke’s story is the Nigerian story, a story of preparation that meets opportunity … Thanks @sujimotong for providing luxury accommodation and Education for Olajumoke & her family.
