Incest: Mum Defends Plans to Marry Son and Start a Family

A mother who was forced to give up her son for adoption thirty years ago and recently reunited with him says they are now in love and trying to start a family.

The 51-year-old mum, Kim West, has been in a sexual relationship with her biological son, Ben Ford, for the past two years and believe they are ‘meant to be’.

New Day reports that the couple, who say their sex life is ‘incredible’ and are planning to get married, insist their relationship isn’t incest. Rather, they claim it is ‘Genetic Sexual Attraction’, a term used for relatives who feel sexually attracted to each other after meeting as adults.

The mother and her 32-year-old son were reunited after Ben, who was living in the US, sent his England-born mum a letter in 2013.

Two years before, Ben had married his ex-wife, Victoria, whom he divorced to be in a sexual relationship with his mum. Mother and son began exchanging phone calls before agreeing to hook up, and Kim said their meeting was like they had ‘known each other for years’.

Kim, an interior designer, said she started feeling attracted to her son and found herself having ‘sexy dreams’ about him. Confused about her feelings, she subsequently decided to research on the internet. She stormed on an article on Genetic Sexual Attraction (GSA) and felt relieved.

They then agreed to meet at a hotel where they ordered alcohol and kissed for the first time. Ben told his mum he had stopped having feelings for his wife, Victoria, and they both went on to have sex severally.

Three days later, Ben told his wife he was dumping her for his mum and the pair flew to Michigan where they met another GSA couple who helped them in setting up a new life.

Kim told the New Day,

”Sex with Ben was incredible and mind-blowing. This is not incest, it is GSA. We are like peas in a pod and meant to be together. I know people will say we’re disgusting, that we should be able to control our feelings, but when you’re hit by a love so consuming, you are willing to give up everything for it, you have to fight for it. It’s a once in a lifetime chance and something Ben and I are not willing to walk away from.”

The Guardian claims ‘50% of reunions between siblings, or parents and offspring separated at birth result in obsessive emotions’.

  • Where do these people come from? WTF? Yuck. Be in a relationship with your own son/mother? This is insane.

  • Very, very few people experiencing GSA go public. It is actually very common. In up to half of all reunions, if the genders and sexual orientations align, at least one person experiences it. So, if you have two heterosexual or bisexual sons reuniting with their heterosexual or bisexual mothers, the chances are very high that at least one of those people will experience GSA. Sometimes it is reciprocal.

It happens to people who don’t know they are related, too. For example, people have fallen in love before finding out they are half-siblings.

GSA is a NORMAL and NATURAL reaction given the circumstances, which include having minimal or no contact from about the age of 7 or earlier through puberty.

I know people in these relationships who are living as spouses and have healthy, adorable children together.

People are terrified to “come out” because of criminalization in many places and because of prejudices and ignorance.

As disgusting or shocking as some people find it, there is no good reason to deny them their rights to be together. The disgust of others is not a good reason to deny people their freedom of association.

  • Don’t even want to believe a fan of MIM is buying into this incestuous lifestyle all in the name of freeing them.
