WATCH: Amazing Moment 10-Week-Old Baby Says ‘Hello’

According to Dailymail, Holly Freeman’s 10-week old baby daughter, Poppy, started smiling and making gurgling noises when she was 5-weeks old but friends told her it was probably just wind. The 30-year-old mum was however not convinced. She says she was sure her little girl was trying to communicate with her and so she began recording her since then.

Holly said,

”She was a smiley, happy baby right from the start. She was making sounds and flashing me proper smiles, so I started filming her all the time.

Every morning, Paige, her first daughter, would lean over Poppy’s cot and say, ‘Hello Poppy’, and I would say it to her too.

Then yesterday came the big moment. I took her upstairs and sat her on my bed. She was laughing away and I was saying ‘Hello Poppy’ like I usually did.

She was making noises and moving her mouth, as if she wanted to say something. I took a few videos, and then on the last one I watched her mouth move as she said ‘hello!'”

She added, ”I was so shocked that I stopped filming almost immediately and watched the video several times to make sure I wasn’t imagining things! I couldn’t believe I’d managed to catch it on film. I rang my fiancé Ben and told him what had happened. He said, ‘That’s amazing, I don’t believe it’, and asked me to send him the video. As soon as he got home from work, we watched it together again and again. I still can’t believe I captured her first word at just ten weeks old. Now we’re wondering what she’ll say next!”
