‘The Beat FM’ on-air personality Gbemi O.O has revealed how cyberbullies have prevented her from wishing her mum a happy birthday and uploading her photos on social media, because she is a public figure.
She claims that as a ‘public eye’ people believe you must be able to ‘deal with’ any insult strangers or fans sling at you everyday.

You just addressed someone as “lowlife”, so, the insults go on and on, directly or indirectly,. Fact is, whatever you say or do someone somehow must find faults and fire at you directly or otherwise, that’s the kinda world we live in, our society is wired that way, so just be yourself.
Too many insensitive people out there. Forgetting people in the public eye are humans too and have feelings.
