Look Who Just Joined Snapchat! It’s the US First Lady Michelle Obama

The US first lady Michelle Obama has joined  popular social media network, Snapchat.

With 4.58 million followers on Twitter and five million on Instagram, she has always been an active social media user, BBC reports.

Today, the mother of two officially announced her entrance into the Snapchat community with a selfie and the words: “Oh hey! Look who just joined @Snapchat.”

Her Snapchat page promises to be exciting for followers, as she has already uploaded a teaser for her upcoming Carpool Karaoke with The Late Show host James Corden. 

According to a spokeswoman for the first lady, her Snapchat followers will see images from her upcoming trip to Liberia, Morocco and Spain to promote education for girls.
