See Great Customer Service Gesture of a Supermarket that Made Grieving Mother Cry Tears of Joy

A grieving mother from Saltdean, West Sussex, identified as Tamzyn Rollinson, was touched by the gesture of a supermarket that went to great lengths to replace the blanket she buried her stillborn baby in.

According to Daily Mail, Rollinson had a still born nearly three weeks ago. She began a desperate search for a replica of the blanket, which was bought by her mother, after looking at pictures of her tiny daughter and noticing how big the hearts on the blanket looked. But the blanket was out of stock everywhere.

The 29 year-old said, “I really wanted to get hold of this certain blanket, as my little girl was stillborn nearly 3 weeks ago and this is the same blanket I wrapped her in when she was born, so I wanted one for myself to go in her memory box.”

Fortunately, a supermarket called Tesco was willing to go to great lengths to get her one and after a short conversation on the company’s Facebook messenger service, a blanket was delivered at her house along with a bunch of flowers and a sympathy card.

She gushed, “Tesco employees managed to track one down for me this morning and the lovely staff at the Shoreham by sea branch went out of their way to hand deliver me not only the beautiful blanket but a gorgeous bunch of flowers and a card too!  It was such a kind thing for you all to do and I thank you so much.”

The blanket will be placed in a memory box dedicated to the baby. The mum, who has two more daughters, Frankie and Lacie, said the Tesco staff made a 16-mile trip to bring flowers, cards and the blanket and she was so moved that she broke down in tears.
