Mogul Mum, Kim Kardashian Covers July Edition Of Forbes Magazine
The 35-year-old TV star, Kim Kardashian West is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Forbes, which showcases her accomplishments as a “mobile mogul,” including the launch of her game, website, and app.
A few minutes ago, the delighted mum of two shared a picture of the cover on her Instagram page that was lighthearted and captioned:
“Such a tremendous honor to be on the cover of @forbes!. I never dreamed this would happen and know my Dad would be so proud. #NotBadForAGirlWithNoTalent.”
Forbes also gathers that Kimmy has personally “pocketed $45 million,” or about 40 percent of her most recent annual income, from Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, which they say has taken in $160 million since its June 2014 launch, People reports.
“I realized this is really going to be the next cycle of my career and this is what I want to focus on,” she tells the magazine.
She recalls, “I loved videogames, growing up. … [But I did ask myself,] ‘I wonder if people are really going to … mimic my life.’ ”
She tells Forbes: “When people looked at me in a way like, ‘Why is she stepping into the tech world? That’s not her territory! Stick to reality TV!’ I was like, ‘No.’ This is fun for me. Now I’m coming up with Kimojis and the app and all these other ideas. I don’t see myself stopping.”
