7 Natural Remedies to Get Rid of Your Pimples

Battling pimples on your face, back or neck and nothing seems to help? Find a few simple natural remedies you should try out to help you get rid them…

1. Fresh lemon juice. This can be quite effective for most types of skin inflammation. Dip a clean cotton swab in freshly squeezed lemon juice, apply on affected parts before bedtime and wash with lukewarm water first thing in the morning. You may reduce frequency of application from every night to every other night once you start getting expected results.

2. Aloe Vera. Apply gel to your face, rubbing it in slowly in circular motion for 5 minutes. Aloe vera doesn’t only have soothing effects on the skin, its high anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties aids reducing swelling and redness as well as preventing subsequent breakouts.

3. Cucumber. Like aloe vera, cucumber has soothing effect on the skin. For your pimples, cut one big fresh cucumber into pieces and soak in water for about one hour. Strain water and use to wash your face. In addition, grind a medium size cucumber into a mash and apply as face mask. Leave for 15 – 20 minutes and wash with warm water.

4. Orange peel. This is also said to be effective and worth giving a try. Gently rub fresh orange peel on your pimples for 2 – 3 minutes before bedtime. You may leave overnight or rinse off immediately with lukewarm water.

5. Banana peel. This can be very effective as it contains a quite powerful antioxidant, lutein, which promotes healthy skin cell growth while reducing swelling and inflammation. Rub thoroughly in circular motion on your entire face or other affected parts and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

6. Egg white. Apply on your face before bedtime and wash with lukewarm water in the morning to dry up your pimples.Applying aloe vera gel may help clear up the scars or spots.

7. Honey. This is said to have antibacterial effects on the skin and effective at clearing even tough acne or pimples. Apply directly on affected parts using a clean cotton swab and leave for about 30 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

In addition to these, another natural home remedy is to steam your face regularly to open up skin pores and eliminate trapped oils, dirt and bacteria which can aid skin inflammation and infection.
