Horror! See Why Man Had Carnal Knowledge Of His Teenage Daughter
A 40-year-old man, identified as Lucky Idahosa, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison by an Egor Chief Magistrates’ Court in Benin, Edo State, for raping his 17-year-old daughter.
According to Punch, the man, who had earlier been arraigned on one count of rape, raped his teenage daughter for alleged money ritual sometime in June 2016 on Upper S and T Barracks Street, Off Uselu-Lagos Road in Benin.
The police prosecutor, Osaretin Ogiehon, told the court that the offence contravened Section 358 of the Criminal Code, Cap. 48, Vol. II, Law of the defunct Bendel State of Nigeria, 1976, as applicable in Edo State.

The court also heard from the victim that her father made her unconscious before committing the crime and threatened her into keeping silent about the rape.
Pleading guilty to the offence, Idahosa said he was under pressure to rape his daughter for money ritual.
He was thereafter sentenced to 14 years’ imprisonment without an option of fine by the presiding Chief Magistrate, Igho Braimah, Punch reports.
