You Won’t Believe What Two Sisters Did To Their Babies After Giving Birth…Read

Two sisters Gift Etim Ikono and Esther Ikono who sold their babies after giving birth have been arrested by the Cross River State Police Command alongside one woman called Florence Victor Ekpo, for child trafficking.

The Nation gathers that the two sisters from Calabar, the capital of Cross River have been caught after they sold their babies.

Speaking of the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Jimoh Ozi-Obeh stated that the sisters gave birth to two different babies and the babies were allegedly sold out by Ekpo to an unknown buyer.

He added that as soon as they received information from neighbours, his team swerved in and arrested the suspects, assuring that investigation was still ongoing to get to the root of the matter.

The Police Commissioner said:

“In the light of the above, it will be pertinent to reassure members of the general public that the command has the capacity, capability and the wherewithal to deal with any miscreant who may dare to harass, intimidate and instil fears in the mind of Cross Riverians.”

He then entrusted Calabar residents to maintain peace, be vigilant and to report all suspicious characters and movement to security agents for prompt action.

  • What is it with people and selling innocent babies ehn? What have this babies done to deserve such inhumane treatments?

  • This seem to be hot business now,… is it poverty or just being wicked that’s the cause of such rubbish? How can people do such despicable things to little harmless babies? Just that our God is too merciful, else I’d recommend he shut the wombs of these girls and their evil customers.
