Drama As Enugu Men Divorce Women Raped By Fulani Herdsmen
The people of Eke, in Udi LGA of Enugu State have expressed concern over the increasing number of divorce cases in their communities’ following attacks and rape of married women by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
Speaking before the commission of inquiry into the killing of people in Nimbo community, Mr Anthony Enu, Eke town union president-general in Udi local government Area of Enugu, said the abuse of women in the state has become terrible, as no man would take in a woman who has been messed up by suspected herdsmen.
“The herdsmen are consistently raping our women and daughters infecting them with serious diseases thereby causing indirect divorce in our communities.
”If my wife is messed up by the herdsmen, why should I take her in again? This will mean that what is holding her will hold me,” he stated.
The Secretary of the union, Mr. Livinus Odo, appealed to the South-East caucus in the National Assembly to give a block opposition to the legitimisation of any form of grazing bill, Daily Post reports.
He stated: “They should vacate our communities because we don’t have enough farmland not to talk of the one for grazing.
”The herdsmen have committed atrocities in our communities and it has been a difficult time for our people and we appeal to the government to save us from this menace.”
Na wao! so the men are blaming the women, they should be ashamed of themselves. They are men they should protect the women/girls by chasing the herdsmen away shikena!

So they divorce these ones and take new brides, then the herdsmen molest them again they divorce and moveb to new ones, for how long!!!!!! When this evil men invaded their communities, killing people, repping women, destroying their farmlands, their governor asked them to fast and pray. Since they’re so dumb, they should’t take action but keep fasting.
