Here’s another yummy and very nutritious puree you can introduce from 6 months. Excite your baby’s developing taste buds and get them smacking their lips for more!
Ingredients
4 apples (peeled) 5 large very ripe mangoes or paw paw (peeled) 2 dl water 2 dl rice
SEE ALSO: Potato & Veggie Mix
How to prepare
Cut apples and mango/paw paw into very thin slices. Steam or cook 2 dl water on very high heat. Once the water starts boiling, put the stove on the lowest heat and add the fruits to the water. Close the cooking pot with a tight lid. Allow to simmer for a minute or two and turn off the heat. Stir and allow the heat to soften the fruits. Once soft, blend. Cook rice until very very mushy. Add the pureed fruit to the mashy rice and stir. Serve warm.
