Coolest Thing About Being A Dad

“The unique bond! My daughter has three funny but cool pet names for me and none for her mum, LOL!”

Surprises and Challenges

“Correcting a toddler can be quite tough; getting her to behave properly when she thinks she’s doing nothing wrong but just having fun. I’d say that’s the challenge for now.

In terms of surprises, I’m still in awe of how fast I have grown in my roles as a father. Then, my daughter’s closeness to me though she sees more of her mum. I wish I could spend more time with her though, but work limits that to weekends and public holidays.”

Family rituals / traditions

“Hmm…we usually have Saturday or Sunday brunch and ice cream at choice restaurants or picnics. It’s something we always look forward to.”

Memorable daddy moments…

“When she said her first words which was ‘Dada’, when she took her first baby steps and the first time she called me ‘Sweetheart’ and gave me a big hug.

I love everything about her, everything! She’s flawless! Glad to be her father.”

Daddy guilt?

“Oh! Don’t we all have that? I spent last Christmas away from my family because of work, so, I wasn’t at home to take my daughter to Santa and really experience the Yuletide with her. Wish I could take that back but it’s done, so, I’ll just try my best to make sure that’s the first and last time she spends it without me.”
