Tragedy As Man Burns Mother-In-Law To Death In Attempt To Kill Wife Who Left Him

A furious man who was bitter because his wife left him, has doused his in-laws’ house at Isampou in Ekeremor LGA in Bayelsa State, with fuel and set it ablaze

According to online reports, the unnamed young man allegedly burnt his mother-in-law to death in the process while his brother-in-law, who was severely burned, is fighting for his life in the hospital.

It was gathered that the man’s wife left him some days ago in their residence at Bomadi area of the LGA, saying she was tired of their union, and moved into her mother’s house.

Eyewitnesses disclosed that the man, who thought his runaway wife was sleeping in her mother’s room, allegedly poured fuel on the room and lit it with fire, burning residents of the building.
