Lagos State Police Finally Arrests Man, Rasak Alabi, Who Attacked His In-Law
Rasak Alabi, the man who allegedly battered his wife’s niece, Latifat Adejemi, (read here) in Ikorodu over an air conditioner has just been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command.
It was gathered that Alabi attacked Adeyemi, a makeup artist on the head and face with a spanner, and whipped her with a piece of cable. Adeyemi’s nose was shattered and her right eye damaged after the beating from her in-law.
Following the viral news, the State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, was said to have ordered the arrest of the suspect, Punch reports.
”The CP took up the matter and ordered that he should be fished out. He was arrested in his hideout in Ikorodu around 1.30 pm. He struggled with the officials, but he has been arrested and the case transferred to the command headquarters.
Police spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmos added that ”He will face charges if found culpable”.
