Ghanaian Mum Of 4 Expresses Joy After Husband Of 16 Years Commits Suicide… Find Out Why

While many women would cry after hearing the news of their partners’ death, the reverse is the case for this 33-year-old woman, Rose Keniah whose husband committed suicide after attempting to kill her at Asotwe, near Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, Ghana.

JoyOnline learnt that Rose, a mother of 4, has said the death of her hubby, Mathias Sedungon, whom she was married to for over 16 years, is a blessing in disguise.

According to Rose, she escaped death when her hubby fired a gun at her which hit her in the shoulder in an apparent attempt to kill her after a misunderstanding which led to quarrels and subsequent separation of the couple.

Narrating what happened on the fateful day, Rose said she was on her way to the farm when her husband, described as a sharp shooter, ambushed and attacked her in September this year.

Not even the intervention from the woman’s colleagues could dissuade Sedungon from his intention on that fateful day as he fired and hit his wife before disappearing into the bush.

She was quickly rushed to the hospital in order to save her life. Moments later, it was reported that Mathias had committed suicide, few meters away from where he shot his wife.

Injured Rose is not moved by her husband’s death as the family awaits the Ejisu police to release the body for burial.

She says she survived by divine intervention from the man she had known as a good marksman with a gun, sending a strong message to other women who suffer spousal abuse.

She said: “Don’t just flee from their threats, report them to police.”
