Watch! Supposed Destitute Woman Caught Begging For Alms With Rented Babies
An unidentified woman in Lagos who claimed to be destitute reportedly fled after she was interrogated about the three young infants she had been using to beg for alms.
According to Mirror UK, onlookers grew suspicious when they realized the babies did not look alike. Street children also revealed to authorities that the woman ‘rented’ the babies from mothers in hospital.
She allegedly uses them to beg for money and then splits the earnings with the mothers afterwards.
She was said to have fled when officials from Ikeja Local Government arrived.
