An overweight woman, pictured above, required the assistance of multiple doctors and nurses to help deliver her baby. The patient who weighed 22 stone, was said to have suffered from various complication because of her weight.
A total of 16 doctors and nurses, were needed from Hunan Provincial People’s Hospital in China. The patient suffered from preeclampsia, gestational A diabetes, which is caused by obesity in expectant mothers, and pulmonary hypertension or high blood pressure in the arteries that supply the lungs.
The doctors, had to swing into action, to stabilize the patient, before performing a C-section. She successfully gave birth to a healthy baby. This is her second child.
