Update: Why Cameroonian Cook Killed His Female Boss
New reports have surfaced, about a 22-year -old Cameroonian citizen Joel Ludgo, who allegedly killed his boss Temidayo Adeleke, after requesting his monthly pay from her. The victim’s wedding was reportedly slated for 2017 (read here).
Punch, reports that the incident occurred at about 10.30pm on Tuesday. Ludgo, asked his boss for N15,000 advance from his salary, but she asked him to be patient with her. He failed to reason with her and afterwards stormed out, only to return a few moments later with a knife and stabbed her in the chest.
The public relations officer of Lagos state division, Dolapo Badmos, disclosed on Saturday that:
“The victim was found lying on the floor of her living room in a pool of blood. A kitchen knife was found stuck into the left side of her chest. She was rushed to St. Nicholas Hospital on Lagos Island, where a doctor on duty confirmed her dead”
The security guard for the lady, who identified himself Abbah, revealed that the help, was employed about two months ago and was a drug addict.
Badmos, has urged people to be thorough before hiring house helps. Adding that;
“Some drug substance was found on the suspect and he has made confessional statements. He said he wanted to send money to his girlfriend in Cameroon and that was how an argument ensued between him and the boss. Investigation is still ongoing and he will be duly prosecuted. Meanwhile, people should be wary of employing domestic servants on the road. Background checks need to be carried out on them.”
