Cuteness Overload: Miss Universe Contestants Meet their Mini-Me

The 2016 edition of the Miss Universe beauty pageant is already ongoing in the Philippines.

The pageant usually takes place over a 2-week period with various activities lined up to keep the contestants busy.

Various beauty queens representing different countries have assembled to compete for the prestigious crown. Nigeria’s representative is 2015 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN), Unoaku Anyadike.

As the queens, headed to the beautiful Island of Cebu to prepare for their swim wear presentation, they were all welcomed by adorable kids dubbed their ‘mini me’ who were adorned in beautiful attires and matching tiaras. See lovely photos from the pageant.

Ida Ovmar, (pictured above), took to Instagram to share this heartwarming message about her mini-me:

Anyadike, is still the reigning MBGN, because due to unknown reasons, the pageant did not hold last year. However, instead of representing Nigeria at the ‘Miss World’ platform a second time, the organisers of MBGN decided that the 1st runner up Debbie Collins, will represent the Nation, while Anyadike, represents Nigeria at Miss Universe.

The pageant is scheduled to hold on the 29th of January, 2017.
