Tragic: Mother Sets Children Ablaze Leading to their Death in a Bid to Separate a Fight

Chinonso Azubuike, who hails from Imo State had a bitter encounter after trying to separate two people fighting. Unfortunately her 2 sons Chimaobi Azubuike, 3 and  Chidalu Onyeka, 7 were set on fire during her efforts.

Punch reports that:

Chinonso, who is married to Oliver, tried to separate him and his sister from a fight which proved difficult and thus resulted in her pouring a gallon of petrol on both of them.

Sources disclosed that, after carrying out this act, the house was in flames, which reportedly came from a kitchen near the house, where a resident was cooking.

Reports, reveal that the fire killed Chimaobi and Onyeka, who were together in one of the rooms in the house, also all efforts geared towards putting out the fire by fellow neighbours, proved abortive.

Collins Osuji, a resident of the neighbourhood, revealed that the woman and the two fighters, have been hospitalized from the severe burns they sustained.

“The policemen, who came on a rescue mission, took the woman and others to a hospital for the injuries they sustained as a result of the fire.”He said
