Just When all Hope Seemed Lost! How Beyonce and Jay Z Reportedly Gave up Trying to Conceive
Although songstress, Beyonce Knowles recently set the internet buzzing with her pregnancy news, sources say the road to expanding the Carter family was a rough one.
According to reports, Shawn Carter, aka Jay Z and Bey had first given up trying to have another baby after their first child, Blue Ivy.
US Weekly reports that the singer, who revealed Wednesday, February 1, 2017, that she is expecting twins (read here), and hip-hop mogul hubby, 47, “had been trying and trying to conceive” before they got the good news.
The 35-year-old pop diva, who shared in her 2013 HBO documentary, Beyoncé: Life Is but a Dream, that she suffered a miscarriage before baby Blue was born, was “frustrated” after unsuccessful in vitro fertilisation, IVF treatments. They were even allegedly looking into adoption or surrogates.
Just when all hope seemed lost, the source says, “out of nowhere, it stuck!” Now, the expectant parents are “over the moon.” But no one is more excited about the news than 5-year-old big sis, Blue: “She was asking about another baby forever. Now she gets two!”
