Gone but not Forgotten: Eniola Badmus Pens Emotional Tribute to Late Mom Who Died 13 Years Ago 

There’s nothing as painful as losing a mother. Even when they are gone, nothing can replace their role in our lives.

Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, took to her Instagram page to pen an emotional tribute to her mom who passed away 13 years ago. She wrote:

“If tears could build a stairway,
and memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven
to bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken
no time to say goodbye
you were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.
My heart still aches in sadness
and secret tears still flow,
what it meant to lose you,
no one will ever know,I remember everything about you,
your voice, you smile, your touch,
the way you walked, the way you talked,
the way you looked at me, meant so much.I remember all the words you said to me,
some funny, some kind, some wise,
all of the things you did for me,
I see now with different eyes.

I remember every moment we shared,
seems like only yesterday,
or maybe it was eons ago,
It’s really hard to say.
