”Teach your daughters to keep their virginity until marriage… Virginity isn’t restricted to one gender, so…” Between Reno Omokiri and a Twitter User

Dad of three, Reno Omokiri, shared his usual words of advice on his Twitter handle. This time, he is advicing parents to teach their daughters to keep their virginity until marriage. Some people thought the post was one-sided and reacted to it.

”Teach your daughters to keep their virginity until marriage. Even on products it’s written ‘do not purchase if seal is broken’. Teach your sons not to prove manhood by sleeping with many women, but instead to prove it by excelling in life above many men #RenosNuggets.”

A Twitter user commented:

”Our daughters aren’t products. Marriage isn’t a purchase, Virginity isn’t restricted to one gender, so by that token, teach your sons the same.”

Another lady commented:

”What an advice. Why not teach your sons to keep their virginity too? Why encourage them to sleep with girls at all before marriage? And what’s your definition of “many women”? 10, 20? Oga this your advice get as e be. We ought to advise our kids to do the right thing. Both male and female child.”

”They do not need to sleep with ‘many women’? So they can sleep with women but not many? I wished I married a virgin man the same way some men are looking for virgin girls. We women don’t want “broken seals” too. God knows if I come to this life as a woman again…I will search hard for a virgin man! When God was talking about fornication,he wasn’t talking to one gender only. It’s we humans that tend to make it seem like women are meant to live right while men can live freely.”

However, some people supported his view.
