4 Things Every Woman Should Always Do After Making Love

What you should do after making love? As hot and steamy as sex with your partner can and should be, it can bring a host of new bacteria, which is challenging for the vagina to fend off.

We have all been told at one time in our lives to pee after sex. Peeing right after sex can help prevent the spread of fecal bacteria to the bladder, reducing a woman’s risk of UTI (Urinary tract infections). Also, some women are naturally prone to getting infections than others, and they have more delicate body systems.

A good post-sex routine can be the difference between a super-steamy sex life and a dull one. Here are 4 things, apart from peeing a woman should always do after sex:

  •  WIPE DOWN WITH NON-SMELLY SOAP AND WATER
“Sexual bacteria from the fingers, mouth, and rectum can increase your chance of developing a yeast or bacterial infection,” says Sherry Ross, M.D., ob-gyn and women’s health expert in Santa Monica, California, who recommends using a non-fragrant soap down south after sex. Simply take a warm washcloth or face towel and gently dab the area with soap and water (or just warm water), moving from front to back. Internal cleaning isn’t necessary: the vagina has its own internal wash cycle that keeps it clean and balanced. Its not even necessary to go as far as douching.
  • DRINK A LOT OF WATER

Sex is an action-packed love exercise. Somehow, someway, you will lose bod fluid. The most common is through sweat. Dehydration affects your entire body, so if your mouth is dry and your vagina feels like sandpaper during sex, you definitely need to refuel with water.  That will hydrate you and help flush UTI (Urinary tract infection) causing bacteria from your bladder.

  • EAT PROBIOTIC-RICH FOODS – Yogurt. fura-de nun, kunu e.t.c

Kelly Kasper, a gynaecologist at Indiana University Health, suggests that women should get into the habit of  of snacking on these foods after sex. Why? Because these snacks are rich and contain almost the same type of good bacteria found in the vagina. In a way, you are simply nourishing and rejuvenating yourself, and preventing yourself from infections or STD’s. Medically, men carry infections 80% of the time without even knowing it, once they pass it to the woman, she starts to itch or feel sore, and it can be anything from mild to uncomfortable. A good dose of probiotic foods like yogurt, helps the good bacteria higher in number than the bad ones.

  • TAKE OFF YOUR UNDERWEAR

Yes, go commando for optimum air circulation. Your Veejayjay is an organ, and it needs to breathe. We are going out on a limb here and assuming that most rendezvous happens at night. So, the best way we can ward of unwanted infections after a session of love making,  is by by wearing cotton underwear and loose-fitting night wear. At the very least, avoid nylon underwear and stick to cotton panties.
