Update: Alleged Lover Of Apostle Suleiman Speaks Out From Jail | Her Father Contradicts Her in New Interview
Trending news that clergy, Apostle John Suleiman impregnated 23 year old Stepanie Otobo, and promised to marry her, has taken a new turn. We brought to you yesterday, news about how Apostle Suleiman got Stephanie arrested, as he claimed that she tried to blackmail him, read here.
Sahara TV has shared a video of Stephanie, giving her account of the whole scenario from the police cell has surfaced. She recounts of how he they met, their relationship, the pregnancy and her arrest. She also released photos of herself and the apostle during a video chat.
Contrary to what Stephanie says in the video above, her father, Reverend Benson Otobo, has refuted the claim, saying nothing as such ever happened. Vanguard reports that Rev. Otobo told newsmen that the apostle does not even know where he lives, so there is no way he could have come to his house for an introduction, which is contrary to the letter Festus Keyamo, Stephanie’s lawyer sent.  He, however, informed newsmen that he has since called Apostle Suleiman to distance himself from his daughterâs misconduct.
“I was shocked to hear this thing just yesterday. Iâm not part of it at all. Even that my daughter, as I speak, we are at loggerhead because two months ago, I saw her picture on the internet, through her whatsapp. I had a shout with her on the way she dressed and I saw her with tattoo and all that, I now advised her that âlook, why are you dressing like this, you need to dress decently even on whatsapp, she flayed at me, giving me names, calling me names, telling me Iâm not serving God and different kinds of things I cannot even reveal to you now. â She insulted me and told me that from that day on, I was not her father any more and that I should just forget about her for life. â If a daughter is telling her father that, I donât know why I would be involved in anything that concerns her. Iâm not aware of all these things that sheâs talking about.Not at all.â
The reverend also said he is aware that his daughter is staying in Canada, but wonders who she knows there that she is staying with.
