Celebrity Couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Put Divorce on Hold
Hollywood couple, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are back from the brink of divorce, a new report claims. The pair have decided to keep working on their marriage after going through a recent rough patch that nearly led to a permanent split.
The actors, both 44, announced their separation in June 2015, exactly ten years after they tied the knot (read here). However, it wasn’t until just last month that Jen reportedly started making plans to actually file divorce papers.

”Jen has called off the divorce. She really wants to work things out with Ben. They are giving things another try,” a source close to Garner tells PEOPLE.
”There is always a chance of reconciliation. They love each other. They also really, really love their kids, and those kids love their parents,” the source added.
Even after their breakup, Jen and Ben have remained totally amicable, even living together to successfully co-parent their three children, Seraphina, 11, Violet, 8, and Samuel, 5. The whole family was reportedly together to celebrate their son Samuel‘s fifth birthday.
”The girls had wrapped presents for Sam, including superhero toys. They had a cake. Everyone seemed happy,” a source added. ”They want to keep the family together. Ben is making a big effort to take care of himself. they are not back together, but there seems to be hope. Jen is hoping they can stay married. Ben doesn’t want a divorce either.”
The duo have been photographed together countless times since their split, and there’s clearly still the possibility of more back and forth,
In January, Ben told PEOPLE, ”I like taking my kids to school in the morning and dropping them off and having them know their dad is there. That feels good.”We’re thrilled that they’re working things out for now!
