A Few Things Ramsey Noah Had to Say about His Wife in New Interview
Most people would agree that long time Nollywood actor, Ramsey Nouah, has paid his dues fully in the entertainment industry. The actor, who is seen rarely on screen these days, but was cast in the highly acclaimed Nigerian movie, 76‘, no doubt has a lot of the female folk swarming around him.
In a chat with Punch’s Sunday Scoop, he tells reveals that unlike most Nigerian women, his wife has no issue when he has to kiss another woman or play a romantic scene in a movie.
“I am an actor and it is my job to make-believe. Whatever you see on screen is not the true picture, no matter how real it may seem. My wife knows this and I have her blessings to take on whatever role to further my career. She is one of my biggest fans and she corrects me if she feels I haven’t done anything right,” he said.
Ramsey, who has been married to Emelia Philips-Nouah for 15 years and has produced 3 children from the union, says that he credits the success of his marriage and home to his wife.
“I always tell people that women are responsible for keeping a marriage and my wife is the reason I still have a home. She is a special woman who is ever supportive and I can’t imagine how my life would look like without her. It is very essential for entertainers to be in relationships with people who understand them and are at peace with their jobs; that is the only way they can excel without being bugged down by domestic issues
