UPDATE:  7 month Old Girl Who Was Raped by her 57 year Old Stepfather in Katsina State has Died

The 7-month-old girl who was raped by her 57-year-old step-father, Magaji Dansale, in Katsina state last month (read here), has passed away.

She gave up the ghost at the Turai Yar’Adua hospital yesterday due to complications.

You will recall that Magaji, who is currently in police custody, raped the little girl at his home in Marmachi village of Musawa Local Government Area, Katsina State.

He confessed that he had canal knowledge of the innocent girl because he believed he would become rich once he sleeps with an infant.

”I had sexual intercourse with the baby girl because I saw it in several dreams I had that it was the way for me to become successful in life. I dreamt that all my suffering in life would end. This is why I did it.

I truly believed that if I had sexual intercourse with her, all my predicaments would vanish. I would not have to run around to make ends meet anymore,” he said.

He married the 25-year-old mother of the baby girl, Zinnai Muntari, following the death of his first wife who had six children for him.
