UPDATE: Girl Who Lived with Rare Genetic Disease Finally Laid To Rest in South Africa

18-year-old Ontlametse Phalatse, seems to have touched the life of every one she came in contact with, including the president of South Africa whom she met, as it was her last wish for her birthday.

Ontlametse was born with a rare genetic disorder called progeria that makes the affected persons age faster than normal. As a result of this, she passed away sometime earlier this month. The tiny giant, as he was fondly called by many was laid to rest today. News 24 reports state that it was a very emotional and massive turn out, as hundreds of people gathered in Hebron in the North West on Friday for the funeral service of the Tiny Giant.
