British supermodel and actress, Naomi Campbell, said she thinks about having children all the time. The 46-year-old supermodel, who had previously said she has considered adoption, seems to have changed her mind, as she is now thinking about having her own biological child.

In a rare interview with ES Magazine, Naomi said:

”I think about having children all the time. But now with the way science is I think I can do it when I want.”

When asked if she would have the child herself rather than adopt, she replied:

“Maybe. Maybe… Maybe.”

Meanwhile, she is adamant she needs to find the right man first, insisting she doesn’t want to be a single mother.

“I do want a father figure”, she said. “I think it’s important.”

When asked if that is because she did not have her own father figure, she replied:

“It’s the way I feel today, sitting here talking to you.”

Speaking about her battle with drugs and alcohol, Naomi who entered rehab in 1999 and attended Narcotics Anonymous meetings, said she now tries to help others with similar problems.

“People tried to shame me about the fact that I went to get help. You should never feel shame because recovery is a positive thing.

But when I first went, people were not open about this stuff. Everything like this should be talked about openly, mental health issues, postpartum depression – there are so many different things.

Come together and help each other, that’s important. My phone is always on for anyone that needs help and guidance in that situation. Like people’s phones and doors have always been open for me. You have to share it back.”
