About to Wed: Check Out Lovely Pictures from Serena Williams’ Magical Bridal Shower

American professional Tennis star, Serena Williams was showered with love by family and friends to celebrate her upcoming wedding to fiance, Reddit’s Alexis Ohanian.

35-year-old pregnant Serena jetted off to Miami last weekend with her sisters, Venus Williams, Lyn Price and Isha Price, including her mother, Oracene Price, and 20 of her closest friends where they had a fun-filled bridal shower at Miami’s 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach.

“The bridal shower really reflected Serena’s girlie and detail-oriented personality,” her friend and L.A. event planner Val Vogt of VLV Group tells People.

There were lots of surprises for her throughout the weekend,” she added.

Adds her longtime friend Lara Shriftman: ”It was a really magical weekend with a lot of love for Serena.”

The girls got the bridal shower underway with a group breakfast on Saturday, May 6, complete with an omelette bar, green juices and gluten-free breads, a source tells UsMagazine.

Serena got engaged to Ohanian during a romantic vacation to Rome last December after more than a year of dating. In April, she accidentally revealed on Snapchat that she’s 20 weeks pregnant and expecting the couple’s first child.
