Every woman loves a hot man! Now, the definition of hot is relative to her own taste. For me however, I have never found my husband more attractive than when he became a dad. Fatherhood, true to what they say, has a way of bringing out the deepest love in a man, especially when he has a two-year-old daughter.

Sure, he had lost the trim physique, clean shaven soft baby face of our youth. He was now spotting hard rugged beards, cute love handles in my opinion and a round belly that I looked forward to rubbing when the kids were asleep. He was all shades of sexy and appealing to me. These are my 3 reasons for loving him more:

1. Being goofy and playful

Fatherhood brought out a different side of him. He became cool enough to be silly for the sake of our daughter, Tolu, and i find it very attractive. Why? He comes back from work, and the first thing he does is call her name in a very melancholic voice that makes me look at him with a full heart. Don’t even get me started on the dance routine that is exclusive to just the two of them, watching him clean her up when she poops. He makes a funny face about how bad it smells and her laughter warms my heart!

2. Kindness

He lets me sleep in for an extra hour while he takes her to get breakfast. Life can sometimes come down hard on people. My husband, even in those hard times will spend his last dime trying to make me happy, I can be more demanding than our daughter. For months after having Tolu, he was the one backing her, or cuddling her when she woke up at those annoying odd hours, letting me sleep longer.

3. Helpfulness

I get the warm butterflies, even with my 2nd pregnancy, when my husband helps out around the house without being asked! I do the much I can when I’m home from work or home alone. As long as he’s home, he does not mind giving me a shower and a back rub, he is by my side when I’m cooking. Tolu is his priority now. I joke that he is my house boy, lol, but the truth is, he is has become ten times the man I felt he would ever become. I see him try to live up to meet my needs every day and make this pregnancy easy.Every day, he is literally on fire, and he gets hotter as the day goes by.
