Dear MIMsters: How do I do what my husband is asking me to do due to our poor finances?
I am happily married with two kids. They are four years and one year and four months old. Our finances have been poor because hubby’s jobs has not been forthcoming as such. They are have been coming in trickles, a little here and a little there but generally, God has been faithful. I am the only one who has a stable job.
The main problem here is that I discovered last week that I am pregnant. Honestly, this came as a shock to me because I vividly remember taking an emergency after sex pill last month. I knew I had unsafe sex, that’s why I took the pill, so you can imagine my shock upon discovering I am pregnant.
Now, due to our poor financial condition and since I am the only who has a stable job, my dear hubby is insisting that I find a way to abort the foetus. Honestly, I don’t want to do that. I can’t just bring myself to do it. I don’t know what to do or how to handle this. Should I listen to him? Please help me with your practical advices.
No don’t abort please,when people kill through abortion,they claim they have not killed all because they never took a gun or knife on the mission but i tell u its same,terminating d life of a foetus we term insignificant is as good as stabbing your child in your home because of insufficient funds.he is asking u to do so because it isn’t his body and not the one to carry the guilty conscience(for those that still have a conscience).
Tell him u won’t consent to abortion. Its a sin against God and ur life is at risk too.God will see u through
please don’t do it. I witness a similar case due to advice from the husband, the wife did abortion and complications arises later to stomach disorder that lead to the dead of the wife. mind you the husband is still regretting …
Just keep praying that God improve ur finances,but I wouldnt advice you to abort that child,whatever you would need to take care of the child,God would provide. Tell ur hubby that after you have given birth,that he should take a knife and kill the child himself. mke hin do the job himself
If the pregnancy is not in any way going to make you loose your job, then keep it.
